Mobile phones can be used to look up weather or answers to questions on search engines. Many children are becoming mobile phone owners. But we should be aware of both the positive and negative aspects of mobiles.
Let us start with the advantages of buying a mobile for a child. First of all, many mobile phones allow access to the Internet, which can help a child to find answers to questions very quickly and easily. This can help with studies and other simple questions like daily weather or finding directions to go to some place.
Secondly, some mobile phones have tracking devices. So parents can track where their child is at any moment, to know that he\she is safe.
Thirdly, mobile phones can be a learning tool for children. There are many applications that can help to learn new words or simply train your memory.
And last but not least, mobile phones allow parents and children to stay in touch. Mobile phones can be important in emergency situations or when a parent needs to quickly get in touch with a child or vice versa.
At the same time there are certain disadvantages in mobile phones usage. First and foremost is cheating. Students can text answers under their desks during tests. Some students try to find answers to test questions on the Internet using their phones.
Moreover, mobile phones can be very distracting from important events in a student"s life such as studying, doing homework, or even crossing the street.
Besides, children can receive abusive messages from other students or from strangers.
And finally, mobile phones are not cheap.
All in all, mobile phones have already become an important part of our daily life and communication. We just have to use them wisely.

И, наконец, мобильные телефоны недешевы.

It’s a common truth that the world has completely changed with the expansion of technological progress. Nowadays, people have a lot of things they couldn’t even dream of one or two hundred years ago. One of such gadgets people can’t imagine their life without is a mobile phone. So why is it so important for people of the modern world?

First of, mobile phone is a mean of communication. It helps people to keep in touch with their friends and relatives at any distance. Moreover, connection to the Internet allows using different social networks and special apps like Viber, Skype or WhatsApp to make usual calls, video calls and exchange instant messages wherever we are. Additionally, this mean of communication enables us to make business quickly and effectively. You can check your e-mail and organize any meetings, pay bills and do many other useful things just with one button click.

Secondly, it’s necessary to mention that modern smart phones are the gadgets with unlimited entertainment possibilities. People can watch videos, listen to their favorite music, play different games, read books and news on the Internet… modern smart phones are ready to suggest an activity for any taste. Therefore, it’s impossible to get bored in a queue or during the journey — the only things you need are your mobile phone, earphones and a fully charged battery.

In addition, mobile phone supplies people with the feeling of safety. If you’re in a trouble or in a case of emergency you’re able to contact your family or any services to get help. Moreover, there is one really useful option called GPS that won"t let you to get lost at an undisclosed location.

In conclusion, I’d like to mention that there is a disadvantage of using mobile phones too. We should remember about the mobile phone addiction especially among teenagers and their disability to communicate in the real world. Though mobile phones give us limitless opportunities, we should not forget about talking to each other live and disconnecting from a mobile phone world at all from time to time.

Mobile phones are most important innovation for humans. They are not just useful for communications but comes handy in other day to day tasks.

If you are carrying the latest smartphone, you don’t need to have any extra camera, calculator, torch, music player, wear a watch or radio. Your smartphone can do all these tasks easily. And if you are getting bored, you can play games on your phone or have chat with your friends.

Moreover, with millions of apps available for almost anything you can think of, mobile phones are certainly the most useful tool for us today.

I agree that the days of considering a mobile phone a luxury are gone, but I’m not sure they actually save you money. I guess in a way maybe as we did drop our land line phone, but overall I think we are spending more than in the pre-mobile-phone-days. My favorite thing about my smart phone is being able to look up directions using google maps.

Mobile phones are definetly better then landlines but when comes to culture it fails… We (family member) were more closed to each other when landline was there but now kids don’t seat in, they are all the time busy with chats and games. And, as well, spend all of my life in The New Earth (Revelation 21:1). I can get to Heaven with never having a mobile phone. Aeroplane

The plane was the invention that helped shrink the world and brought distant lands within easy reach of ordinary people. The invention of the petrol engine made flight feasible and the American Wright brothers made the first flight in 1903.
